We make the catering process smooth, personalized, and stress-free from start to finish.
Here’s what you can expect when working with us:
Initial Contact – We start with a quick conversation (phone, email, or message) to learn more about your event, guest count, location, and any special requests.
Custom Menu & Quote – Based on your needs and budget, we’ll create a tailored menu and send you a detailed quote, including service and delivery options.
Finalize Details – Once approved, we confirm logistics like setup time, dietary preferences, and any add-ons (e.g. staffing, rentals, drinks).
Event Day – Our team arrives on time, fully prepared to deliver delicious food and exceptional service. You enjoy your event — we handle the rest!
Follow-Up – After your event, we check in to make sure everything met your expectations and to hear any feedback.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
our culinary roots come from real-life experience, passion, and cultural tradition. Our team is made up of chefs and cooks who were raised in Dominican-Caribbean kitchens — learning from family, community, and years of hands-on work in the food and hospitality industry.
In addition to that deep cultural foundation, our team has:

Food safety certifications and proper handling training
Ongoing training in customer service, logistics, and event coordination to ensure a smooth and professional experience for every client

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Baez Flavor Co. was born out of love — love for our culture, our community, and the joy that good food brings to people.
It all started with home-cooked meals for family and friends. What began as small gatherings quickly turned into requests to cater birthdays, events, and special occasions. People kept coming back not just for the food, but for the feeling — the warmth, the sazón, the way every bite told a story.
That passion grew into a mission:
To bring bold Dominican-Caribbean flavors to events across NYC and to serve every client like family.
From our humble beginnings in the kitchen to launching a full-service catering company, every step has been about creating meaningful connections through food — and making people happy in the process.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One recent project we’re especially proud of was catering a corporate luncheon for 100 guests at a tech company in Manhattan.
They wanted a vibrant, flavorful menu that reflected culture and creativity — something different from the usual office lunch. We created a custom Dominican-Caribbean fusion spread featuring pollo guisado sliders, yuca fritters, empanadas, and tropical fruit platters, along with fresh juices and sauces made in-house.
From planning to execution, the entire project took about 10 days — including menu consultation, tastings, logistics coordination, and full delivery/setup. The feedback was incredible — guests kept coming back for seconds, and the client rebooked us on the spot for their next event!
It reminded us why we do what we do — bringing joy, bold flavor, and community to every table
