What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We do charge a $75 estimate fee that gets put towards the balance if we were to be hired for the job.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

With new customers we ask about the vision they have with the space. We explain our process to what it would take to get there and provide a detailed invoice explaining the work and timelines. Once hired, half is due on the first day of work, with the second half being due once the work is completed

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

All my family are union workers and have extensive training. Currently all are or have been journeymen before.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

This has been a family trade. I am currently 33 but have been assisting my family members since the age of 12. I’ve recently decididos it’s time to open our own family business.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Both residential and commercial. Real estate investors

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Recently painted a single story home from the exterior. All stucco damage was repaired, windows were resealed, an aluminum patio was painted 2 tones. Took us 6 days to complete.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Please ask what paint is being used. Going from a low level paint to a mid level paint can make the work last much longer.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Which colors do the have in mind? What shean would they want? Is the space empty?
