Introduction

I'm a custom muralist/artist and logo designer of 10+ years working in commercial and residential spaces. Tell me your style and vision and I'll help bring that to life! I don't shy away from any idea or style. From landscapes - animals - logos - themed rooms - cartoons - working with interior designers to create wall paper like patterns and abstract design. I happy to paint portraits of you, your loved ones, and pets - but please note I do not paint super realistic (traditional) portraits. Here is a rough price range for pricing your own projects! From murals to custom art pieces to business logos. And hopefully hiring me to do it! Design Fee: Digital designs/design consultation is $150 non refundable. This covers design/sketch time for digital rendering for mural. This includes a single revision of design. Any revisions after that is a $50/hr spent revising until agreed upon final design. If you want multiple murals designed. $150+$75 for every additional design. Same hourly rate for additional revision on. your mural design. All Murals of any size start at: $2,000 minimum

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Depending on the intricacies of the design I will quote a total price (Refer to my Mural Tiers listed in my introduction). I charge a $150 non refundable design fee to create a mock-up for the mural. If you decide to hire me, I require a 50% installment fee at the beginning of the painting process, and the remaining balance for the project is due at completion.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Typically, I like to start with an initial conversation to discuss concept; then, I begin the designing process. After we have spent time discussing the mock-up and making sure it is exactly how the customer incisions, I begin the painting process.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I taught high school theatre for nine years. In that role I constructed and designed many sets, props, and costumes. I started selling my artwork during my last year of teaching, and turned it into a full time business in July 2021. My time as a theatre director helped prepare me for this career because I have a spent a great deal of time painting large scale murals for sets, and I have plenty of experience executing a design from conception to completion.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started painting large scale projects in high school as a theatre technician, and continued this style of painting throughout college and my years as a theatre director. I began my art business by painting custom canvas pieces for clients, then began painting for commercial business shortly thereafter.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with private companies, large businesses, and individuals.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently finished a 6 foot by 9 foot canvas for a construction company that outlined their major achievements throughout the years. The canvas showcased their many machines/products, locations, and photos from their date of opening to today.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Having a concept is helpful to begin creating a design. However, even if you just have a basic idea of what you like, I can create a design and discuss your preferences as we go.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
How large of a painting are you wanting? Do you have a specific area for the painting? What colors do you like? What work of mine are you drawn to? Do you have any reference photos? Do you want to include a logo? What style of painting to desire (realistic, semi realistic, cartoonish, abstract, etc.)? What is your timeframe look like for completion? What is your budget?
