Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Every job is different. We visit each potential project prior to giving an estimate to ensure we can give the best price possible.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We reach out to our potential clients and schedule a walk through of the project. While on site, we discuss the scope of the project and various options available to the client. From there we take measurements and pictures in order to give accurate estimates. We have the estimates over within 24 hours most of the time and no later than 48 hours. If everything looks good to the client, we will take a deposit and schedule the job.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have over 12 years of experience in the painting industry. Types of projects completed include: - All sizes of homes: interior and exterior - Staining: decks, fences, doors, etc. - Entire hotel, apartment and hospital remodels - Various types of other commercial painting projects

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I picked up painting as a summer job while I was attending the University of Georgia. I quickly fell in love with the process of painting and the gratification of seeing the hard work come to fruition at the end of each job. I love helping clients realize their vision for their home and seeing how happy it makes them feel.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with homeowners, property managers, general contractors and business owners.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
We recently remodeled a kitchen for a client. I have it listed as a featured project if you would like to check it out. The clients were incredible people and a joy to work with. The paint job drastically updated the kitchen and allowed them enjoy a like-new space without having to purchases new cabinets.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look for: - Good communication - Thorough, detailed estimates - Reviews from previous clients on ThumbTack, Angi and Google

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Here are a few questions: - Do you want to color change or freshen up with the same color? This can affect the price and change the number of coats needed. - Are there wood repairs needed? It is best practice to repair any damage prior to painting. - What types of paint are available for the job? We recommend using higher end paint. A majority of the cost of painting is labor. The extra money spent on a higher end paint is well worth it for the longevity of the paint job.
