What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We work with you to determine the best rate. Typically that means an hourly rate with a minimum set amount. But if we will be working for a longer period we will work with you to give you quote for the whole job.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We first will meet in person or via phone to discuss pricing, timeline and supplies. We work quickly and efficiently to make sure your project is done when you need it by. We can start the day you call us if needed.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Although we just have started our own business it is because we are properly trained. We have been working in the paining business for 6+ years with other experienced painters learning the trade. The benefit of hiring us is that we are also sufficient in drywall, mudding, texturing and even areas outside of painting such as laminate flooring installation and tiling installation.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We have family members who are in this line of work. Painters, Handyman, Cabinet and countertops. This is what we have been doing since we could walk!

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked on projects with homeowners looking to elevate their space. Apartment complex owners and managers, condos, and also relaters. Often a common job we work with is someone who is in the process of building their home.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

We recently had a project where we were painting a newly constructed house this included staining 4 flights of railing as well as an overlook railing. Painting 3 basement rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, living room, mudroom, laundry room, fireplace mantel, office, master bedroom and bathroom, closets and finally 4 upstairs bedrooms. This whole home took us only 3 weeks to complete.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for someone who knows what they are doing while still having your best interest in mind. We here at AT painting are not here just for quick jobs but also for quality. If you have a question or concern we are happy to work with you.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Questions to think of Timeline? You will want to have your budget in mind but also understand that this will be worked out between pro to customer. What needs to be done? If it is walls how tall are they? How many rooms you are needing done? If you have already picked out paint or need help determining best brands (we are happy to help you in this decision by recommending good brands we have worked with.) Questions to ask professionals What types of things do you to do wall prep? - This is important so you know your professionals are willing to fix any holes, do small repairs or even get rid of gunk on the walls that is found. How quickly do you respond to your calls? - Communication is key How many jobs do you typically take at a time? - You want someone who is not trying to do 100 things at once. We have all heard stories of when you hire a person for a project and they delay that 2 or even 3 weeks.
