Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our no obligation estimates are free of charge.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We love every opportunity that we have to work with a potential/new customer! We will first reach out to you and schedule a time that works best with your schedule to have one of our owners come out to your home for a free estimate. We do all of our estimates in person so that we can discuss your project and really understand exactly what your vision is for your home. We will then take measurements so that we can get you the most accurate estimate. After we email the estimate over to you, we will get in contact with you to see if there are any adjustments that you would like to make to the estimate and get you on the schedule to start your project! The day that we begin your painting project, we will send out our project manager and the painters that will be working with you and they will do a walk through of the project with you. They will talk to you about what areas need to be painted, what colors you want to use, and what you can expect throughout the project. Once the painters have completed your project, our project manager will do one last walk through with you to make sure that everything looks fantastic!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Karen has a background in house remodeling and fashion merchandising and management. Todd had a background in business management and marketing.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Karen gained a lot of experience with home remodeling growing up. Both Karen's parents and grand parents had lots of help from her and her siblings when they were building their homes, where Karen fell in love with the projects. Todd and Karen started remodels themselves when they bought their first home in 1990 and haven't stopped working on projects since then!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
From painting kitchen cabinets, to painting play structures for a water park, we've done it all! We love meeting new people and talking with them about their projects and helping make their vision a reality.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure that you know who you are hiring! You definitely need to know that they are licensed, insured, and have a warranty. You want to hire someone that is going to do exactly what they say, will answer the phone, and is willing and happy to answer your questions throughout the process.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
There are so many questions to think through before you reach out to a professional. If you are thinking about doing the project yourself, what is your time worth? How long is your project going to take, and do you have the time to get it done? How detail oriented are you? Do you know the best products to use? What is your budget for the project? Do you need to arrange to have kids or pets out of the house while painting? There are so many things to think through before you start a painting project on your own, or with a professional. When we come out to do your estimate, our estimators will have lots of questions for you as well. We want to make sure that we are on the same page as you so that we can make your vision come to life!
