Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Murals are priced by the square foot, starting at $35/sqft. The price per square goes up based on three factors: the texture of the wall, number of colors, and the level of detail.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The mural process starts with a conversation identifying your "must haves" and basic timeline. I'll ask questions about the space and the wall to determine if any additional equipment needs to be rented on my end (like taller ladders, scissor lifts, etc. Once the size and texture of the wall is established, I'll send over a contract to get the design process started. Once the copy, design, and colors are selected, I project the artwork onto the wall, and it's time to paint!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the Savannah College of Art and Design in Advertising and Graphic Design. I also have formal training in color theory, type design, hand lettering and paint techniques. I've worked in marketing for 5+ years on creative teams to help increase customer awareness and drive sales, and bring that knowledge to small businesses to help them get the most bang for their buck out of their mural.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I've spent the last five years painting large-scale pieces and doing freelance graphic design and illustration for several clients. After doing a few murals for friends and families (primarily nurseries and children's bedrooms), I really enjoyed being able to paint even larger than a typical canvas and transfer the art I make digitally to such a large scale.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I've worked with small businesses, building developers, individual families and even a few corporate clients (primarily advertising agencies and bank offices to spruce up their office space).
