Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
All sessions have a base rate and final prices will always be discussed before hand.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I am mostly self taught! When you find something that you are passionate about each opportunity to learn is taken advantage of. It’s hard for me to say no to a task when there’s so much out there to master. I’m learning more and more each day, but I will never cease to learn.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started photography with a desire to create a YouTube channel and vlog. Ironically, I ended getting a perfect intermediate camera to take photos and there my journey began. About a year and a half into my photography journey is where I actually picked up videography and started learning both. I have been doing both for about two years and I absolutely love it!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Recording artists, families, couples, individuals, and even business owners for product photography.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
You get connected with many different people when growing up in a church, and all of these people have varying backgrounds. We compiled a documentary around the theme “The Obstacle is The Way” of people telling their testimony and how they overcame their struggles. I was new to videography and everyone worked very well together. We recorded over the course of about two-three weeks and the video was great!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
It is extremely important to not only know what kind of photography session you want, but to know that these photos can last and stand the rest of time. No one wants to look back on a photo and think to themselves, “Oh My!” The photographs you see in your parents and grandparents houses are standing the test of time... though the clothes may not!

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
It is important to know what you want, and to know that you’re dealing with a professional whose skills can assist your vision.
