What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I prefer charging by the job. Just easier for everybody:) However, happy to work on a retainer bases.. by the hour... word count... whatever the client wants.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I start by doing a "deep dive" interview with the client that usually takes about 45 minutes. The goal is to listen and gain a solid understanding of what sets my client's services / products apart from the competition. Nobody knows your business better than you do! My job is to tell your story in a relatable, entertaining and substantive way that moves the needle.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

With more than 25 years of both advertising agency and corporate marketing experience, I've been fortunate enough to create campaigns for a number of huge marketing success stories.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

First job was writing and editing two national automotive magazines out of college, and I've been involved with copy writing, photography and marketing ever since in a married of categories.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Clients who want radio spots that actually pull "numbers..." Clients that want press releases that get "picked up" and garner huge SEO.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Wrote copy for a popular podcaster in the "true crime" category. Required one interview and four days to finish and the client loved it. (Review on my site). But honestly, I love marketing any subject mater or product, from edible dog bowls to cogeneration.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask them how much money they've made for their clients... I've made millions for my clients on the both agency and corporate side in marketing. Do they have quantifiable success stories to discuss, and are they willing to spend the time to fully understand your product or service.
