I’ve been a business owner for over 20 years, running my own Fitness and Nutrition Coaching business — not just locally, but nationwide. Along the way, I invested thousands of dollars in marketing education, learning from some of the best in the world like Alex Hormozi and Jason Phillips. But honestly, the most valuable training came from the school of hard knocks — years of trial, error, testing, and pivoting to figure out what actually works to grow a real business. I got so good at marketing that I started an SEO and website-building side hustle back in 2014. A few years later, I had scaled my gym business into two successful locations and decided to pause the marketing agency to focus on growth. After COVID, I sold my gym and went all-in on my online fitness & nutrition business, helping clients all over the U.S. Eight months ago, I fully automated that business — and decided to return to my first love: marketing for service-based business owners. I've been all in ever since — and loving it.

🔧 Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take? One of my favorite recent projects was helping a personal trainer and gym owner completely revamp her online presence. She wanted to double her monthly income and reach more clients outside her local area. We built her: A new website funnel A custom lead generation system using Google Local Service Ads A review-building automation flow And full tracking with a smart CRM and text-back system It took about 3 weeks from onboarding to launch, and within the first 30 days, she landed 6 new high-ticket clients and saw a noticeable jump in her visibility online. She messaged me: “This is the most legit marketing I’ve ever seen.” That’s the kind of impact I live for. The reason I have gravitated more to helping business owners from Fitness and Nutrition Coaching-is because I love helping clients to where they are so HAPPY with the service we give, instead of staying just 6 months or 1 year-Business owners will stay 3–6 years!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Look for someone who truly understands what it’s like to be in your shoes as a business owner. It’s easy to get sold on fancy promises — but what you really need is someone who listens, simplifies the process, and helps you grow without the fluff. Make sure they explain things in plain English, have real results (not just hype), and ideally have built a successful business themselves. I’ve made every mistake you can think of — and now I help my clients skip the trial and error. Your provider should treat your business like it’s their own. If they don’t, move on.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Before talking to any marketing pro, ask yourself a few key things: What is my #1 goal? (More leads, more calls, better online presence, etc.) What am I frustrated with right now? (Too many missed calls? No rankings? No traffic?) What’s my monthly budget? (Be realistic about what you’re willing to invest to grow.) Do I want to learn and be hands-on — or just have it done for me? How will I know if this is working? (What would success look like in 30, 60, or 90 days?) The clearer you are about these, the easier it’ll be to find a provider who can truly help you — not just sell you something you don’t need.
