What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We typically start out with a short 15-30 minute call to get to know each other and see if we are a good fit. We listen to what your goals are, let you know how we have helped businesses similar to yours and see if we are the best resource for you. If we both feel we are a fit we can dive deeper into pricing & do a free analysis for your businesses on your online presence to start. If we aren't a fit, we can possibly refer you to someone who might be better for you.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

We started in 2012 as just a social media company. As we started working with more and more businesses we quickly realized they needed help in other areas of their marketing but needed solutions that fit the small business budget. Over the years and as we grew we added more of these services while keeping the small business mindset of quality work and personal one-on-one service at affordable pricing.

One of the things we pride ourselves on is giving our clients as much data as they want. Every solution we offer comes with in-depth reporting. We have helped businesses go from 0 keywords in the top 50 search results of Google to having 14. We have helped businesses go from 0 social media followers to thousands. We have helped businesses go from having an outdated website to one that helped them convert customers on a consistent basis. With every solution we have plenty of success stories to share.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I have 2 pieces of advice: 1) If marketing isn't your area of expertise don't try to do it yourself or have an employee do it. Inevitably, we have many clients sign up with us after they have wasted a number of months, if not years, trying to do things themselves and made hardly any progress while their competitors were investing resources into doing it right. 2) Cheaper is not always better. Especially as a small business I understand the need to be budget conscious. However, there is a balance. Any reputable company with experience is not going to be as cheap as a college kid doing it on the side, or your cousin who has some spare time on their hands. Don't put your company into the hands of someone who doesn't have a lot of experience just because they know technology.

My advice is think about marketing as a long-term strategy and a building process. The way you build a brand and a businesses is to start with a strong foundation.
