Introduction

I'm a video producer with over 10yrs experience as both a Commercial Photographer and Video Producer. Much of my work is in Corporate and Commercial. I specialize in setting up and shooting interviews and capturing imagery that helps tell a story. I always bring a positive attitude and professionalism to my projects. I left a career in the corporate world to pursue photography and videography full-time. It was the best decision of my career!

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
My pricing is based on the duration of the shoot and if there is any post-production (video editing). I own all my own equipment but if there are any additional equipment needs, it will cost extra.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
After we go through the initial Thumbtack process, we can schedule a call or meet in person to discuss the details to shoot and edit the video and any timeline restrictions you may have. I will send a formal proposal for you to review and sign that will include the shooting date/time/location and other specifics. The final invoice is sent after you receive the final video.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have over 6yrs experience as a Corporate and Commercial Videographer. I specialize in setting up and shooting interviews with multiple cameras.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got started working in video by assisting more experienced video producers and learning on set. My background is in Commercial Photography so I had a strong understanding of lighting and composition.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
My advice to a customer looking to hire a videographer is to review their portfolio and get a sense of the person's style. Check references and read reviews from past clients.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Customers should had a good understanding of the video they're looking to produce. How long should it be? Who is their target audience? How will it be consumed by viewers (website, social media, ads)? Do you have a location for the shoot? Who will be part of the project?
