Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We create fully custom menus tailored to each event, so our pricing is based on the specific selections and style of service you choose. This allows us to offer a truly personalized experience while doing our best to work within a variety of budgets. Whether you’re planning an intimate dinner or a large celebration, we’ll collaborate with you to craft a menu that fits your vision and price point.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
We typically start with an intake call to get a better understanding of your event — including dietary needs, budget, menu ideas, and any other important details that will help us build a custom experience. From there, we’ll create and send over a few sample menus for you to review. You’ll have the opportunity to select and customize your ideal menu, and once that’s finalized, we’ll provide detailed pricing and send over a formal quote.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our background includes collaborating with chefs to develop unique menus, running kitchens in high-end steakhouses, and catering everything from intimate dinners to large-scale weddings and corporate events. We’ve worked across multiple cities — including Little Rock, Chicago, and cities all across Colorado — which has given us a diverse range of culinary perspectives and the ability to tailor menus to different tastes, cultures, and occasions.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
One recent project we’re especially proud of was a custom wedding dinner for a couple who wanted a deeply personal, upscale dining experience that reflected their cultural backgrounds and favorite flavors. From our initial intake call to the event itself, the planning process took about six weeks. We worked closely with the couple to create a fully customized multi-course menu, incorporating family recipes and seasonal ingredients. The event featured a plated dinner service for 75 guests, and seeing everything come together — from the thoughtful menu to the guest reactions — was incredibly rewarding. It was a beautiful reminder of why we love what we do.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Take the time to ask plenty of questions — it’s the best way to understand how a provider works and whether they’re the right fit for your event. Learn about their background and experience, the types of events they’ve handled, and their approach to menu planning. Ask about the quality of ingredients they use, their style of service, and how they handle dietary needs or special requests. A great provider will be transparent, flexible, and genuinely interested in making your event a success. It’s not just about the food — it’s about the full experience.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
One of the most important things to consider is your budget, as it plays a big role in shaping the type of menu and style of service — whether that’s plated, buffet, family-style, or passed appetizers. It’s also helpful to have a clear idea of any dietary restrictions or allergies that need to be accommodated, so your catering team can plan accordingly. Additionally, providing key event details such as the guest count, venue, timeline, and any specific themes or preferences will help your caterer create a seamless and personalized experience from the start.
