Introduction

Woke Soul Coffee (WSC) is a mobile coffee bar that is set in various locations offering unique and curated beverages. Our goal is to make people feel good by raising awareness within the community, celebrating special moments, and/or showcasing featured artists. Whether it's the celebration of a wedding, birthday, special event, or community driven effort, WSC strives to make the moment a memorable one. We do this by offering organic, beyond fair-trade and regenerative coffee (by Buena Vida) from Costa Rica, handmade syrups, and other handcrafted artisanal beverages with our Ripples custom beverage printer which allows us to create and print virtually any image/text onto any foamed beverage.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing is determined by hourly rate, number of people, and drink preferences.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Customers will complete an intake form which includes the details of the event, the custom image/text desired on select beverages (designed by WSC or sent by customer via email), and beverage options/flavors.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Emily is a coffee/enthusiast and has experience with different brew methods but espresso being a top favorite. Relative training includes: Chicago Specialty Coffee Expo 2024, acquired a wealth of knowledge through The World Atlas of Coffee, as well as immersive experiences through coffee tours in Seattle, Maui and Puerto Rico.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Most of my experimenting with coffee began during the pandemic. I purchased my first espresso machine and was curious to learn different brew methods (e.g. french press, cold brew, and moka pot) and the different taste profile outcomes. Coffee has always been a staple in my family growing up and a part of all gatherings. My goal is to offer something special and elevate the experience and conversations no matter the occasion.
