Welcome! I’m Chef Sakinah, a culinary professional with nearly a decade of experience in the food and beverage industry. Throughout my career, I have worked in renowned restaurants across New Jersey, New York City, Florida, North Carolina, and California. These opportunities have allowed me to refine my skills, master diverse cuisines, and learn advanced culinary techniques under the guidance of esteemed executive chefs. In addition to my expertise in cooking, I specialize in managing and directing all aspects of kitchen operations. I am a proud graduate of one of the top culinary arts schools in the United States, holding an Associate of Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Culinary Arts, along with a ServSafe and State Food Safety Certification. P & L Creates Art LLC is a premier food and beverage service company specializing in catering, private chef services, tableside cooking, culinary classes, and workshops. Cooking has always been my passion, and through this journey, I have had the privilege of catering private events and establishing my own company—P & L Creates Art (Passion & Love Creates Art). Based in Durham, North Carolina, P & L Creates Art LLC provides exceptional culinary instruction and full-service catering for weddings, corporate gatherings, and special events.
