What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I believe in full transparency when it comes to pricing and services. To secure the date and time of your event, a deposit is required. All of my pricing includes fees and taxes, so there are no hidden costs. I’m also flexible and can work with most budgets to create a tailored experience that suits your needs.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a license Food Handler. I also attending Cornell University, receiving a certification in the Entrepreneurs Program.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

It all started in 2015 when my dad passed away. he was the cook of my family. And it was like he passed the torch to me and then fast forward to 2022, my friends and family were constantly in my ears about starting my own catering business and one day I sat and thought about it and went for it!!!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I had an ALL INCLUSIVE party that I was booked for and I was so nervous. It was my first time catering an event to that caliber and it came out amazing. The guest list ranged from 150-200 people. The menus consisted of light appetizers (wings, devils eggs, pineapple salsa etc) and the main entrees (Salmon, Oxtail, Mac & Cheese, Rice etc). It took me about 10-12hrs to prepare.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

My advice: Referrals are always valuable. Set a clear budget and be open to suggestions that could work within it, including menu options. And most importantly, always trust your instincts!
