Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Each workscope is different which means pricing may be higher or lower based on a number of factors such as demolition, ease of access, necessary manpower and/or machinery, etc. We may not have the best prices but we know our quality of work and customer service is our number one priority.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Typically we would chat via messenger or phone to get a good idea of what the customer is looking for. We will then schedule an onsite estimate and complete a walk-through with the customers. During the walk-through some suggestions may be made to ensure the a quality outcome for the customer. Next step is a sent estimate via PDF for record keeping on the customers end. If the customer is satisfy and decides to move forward then a detail contract is sent and conversation begins to schedule a start date.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
We are well experience in the concrete and masonry world. However, our priority customer service. We have over 25 years in the field along with a decade plus of customer service training and on-hands experience.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I got into the field through my father. I've taken on the role of revamping our business to shift focus from workscope to our customers. We want to ensure that all comments/concerns of our customers are answered in a timely manner and with a positive attitude!

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We've worked with many different customers ranging from anyone trying to keep a tight budget to new development. We are able to adapt and adjust along with helping to find solutions for each customer.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Most recent we've taken on a blockwall project for new development in Santa Monica. The blockwall was approximately 500 foot long at 8 foot high. There were many obstacles that we had to overcome as a crew such as change orders, permit and inspections, weather delays and meeting a tight timeline. We are proud of our accomplishment and came out satisfied with our work.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Always get multiple quotes, references, and license/bond/insurance verification. It's always good to check off all the boxes when you hire someone to complete your workscope.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Some key items would be to know your budget, what kind of timeframe are you looking for to complete the workscope, and are you ready to move forward to lock in a contractor or just looking for a quote.
