What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Clients enjoy knowing that our flooring products are high in quality and cost less because we work with all our manufacturers directly. No middle man and the entire project is done in-house from beginning to end.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Here at Rivera's Fine Flooring we pride ourselves in providing not just a service but an experience. Starting with the latest laser precision software we are able to present a detailed estimate and floor plan prior to leaving client's homes. We bring our client's vision to life efficiently with both high quality flooring and craftsmanship.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been in the flooring trade since the age of thirteen. 25 years plus of experience. Thanks to the flooring trade, I was able to succeed in starting my flooring business, earning my real estate broker's license, and graduating from San Diego State University majoring in finance.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Flooring has had a prominent presence in my life starting in my early teenage years working with my uncle during the summers and eventually working the trade during my college years while attending San Diego State University. Eventually after years in the trade I started my own business and continue to grow.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We do residential, commercial, and custom projects. Flooring, showers, countertops, and backsplashes (for the countertops, showers, and backsplashes we could use tile or slabs of marble, granite, quartz, etc...)

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A recent project I am fond of is completing our client's home of ceramic tile downstairs, SPC flooring upstairs, and staircase, including two tiled stand-up showers. I am fond of this project because it all started with an SPC flooring estimate for the upstairs and staircase. We completed this project within 3 weeks. 1 week per product. 1044 sq ft of SPC, 1194 sq ft of ceramic tile, and two stand-up tiled showers including installation of glass doors, plumbing work, and all products for a total of $28,473.50.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It is important to have peace of mind that anyone who enters your home is background checked and that we all work in-house. Have your questions answered immediately by any of our team members. Not the usual run around many clients have in the big box stores.

It is extremely helpful when clients know the type of flooring they are interested in, timeline, and budget. We could also help you here to answer these questions.
