What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

We don't have any price gimmicks or "one week only sales". There are no "buy 2 rooms get 1 free" type of stuff. We simply offer the best products from the best manufacturers, using the most qualified installers, at an everyday great value. Our prices are always all-inclusive, with no change-orders. Once we give you a price, it stays that way even if your job becomes more complex once we remove your current flooring. There are no surprises, and you will not pay your balance until you are completely satisfied with result.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Step 1 Schedule a free in-home Design Consultation with one of our expert Design Associates. Your Design Associate will arrive on time in our Mobile Flooring Showroom. Inside the Mobile Showroom we have thousands of flooring choices that make up our carefully selected Mobile Flooring Collection. Your Design Associate will then measure your floors, help you choose the perfect flooring solution for you and will provide you with an estimate. Step 2 After you’ve reviewed your proposal and estimate, you can review our financing options with your Design Associate and make your final decision. Step 3 Upon your decision, your flooring will arrive and installation begins. We treat your home as if it was our own, so clean up of the flooring area, removal and replacement of furniture is included and done very carefully. We pride ourselves in maintaining and updating you on timelines, as we understand how important that is.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Floor Coverings International Bergen County is a licensed Certified Floor Covering Installer. All of our installers are fully insured and have at least 5-10 years of experience in their specialty and category. We are committed to training, always striving to provide our customers with the best experience when it comes to their flooring project. Our Design Associates receive training and ongoing education every couple of months in Atlanta, GA. This ensures us and the customer that we are always up to date on the latest product knowledge, technology, and processes that go into the home improvement processes when it comes to flooring.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I researched 100's of companies, and Floor Coverings International had the best support system available. I also love the opportunity to work in my community and get to meet so many amazing people.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Every project differs just slightly in complexity, customer desires, and timelines required. However, we don't collect payment on the balance until the customer is satisfied. Most of our projects go from selection to installed in under 2 weeks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When hiring a flooring provider, make sure that they have the proper knowledge and tools when it comes to every category of flooring, are fully insured and licensed, and manage the installation processes from start to finish. These three factors are of utmost importance.
