What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Our estimates are free for all of our potential customers surrounding the Columbus areas and nearby. There is a $25 estimate fee for any estimates that are 45 minutes to 1 hour away.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Although we can do virtual estimates, We prefer to come to the job-site to meet with the customer and to provide our estimates. This tends to make things more personable! Also, it helps to avoid any confusion or missing anything that won’t always be detectable through photos.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Adrien Painting & Construction holds a LLC and we are Licensed through the City of Columbus.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I was raised in a family where everyone had a trade. I started to work with my family at a very young age, and it became instilled and made to do this type of work.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with all types of customers from business owners/ commercial work to home owners and renters!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A Recent project we have done is carpentry related! We built a porch/deck! Anytime doing work in carpentry, you have to be very precise in cutting angles. It takes years of practice. This was for a duplex. We had to demolish the old front and back porches and build from the ground up. We also painted these upon completion of building! This particular project took three weeks to complete.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

It’s always good to work with someone that is licensed, bonded, and insured. Someone that has references available when you ask, honest in setting expectations, efficient, with excellent communication and educating skills.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Good questions to ask are specific questions such as “what type of paint should I use for my bedroom vs kitchen?” Or “ What are the different types of flooring and how/ why do they differ in pricing to install?” These are typically questions that end up being addressed but these are a great example!
