Our pricing is competitive, transparent, and designed to fit a wide range of budgets. As part of Carpet One, a nationwide cooperative of independent flooring retailers, we have the buying power of a large company while remaining locally owned and operated. That means we’re able to offer high-quality products at great value. We provide free in-home consultations, seasonal promotions, and flexible financing.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

We start with a conversation, during a free in-home consultation, to understand your style, needs, budget and goals. From there, we help you choose the right product and provide a clear, personalized quote. Once you're ready, we finalize the details and schedule an installation date based on your schedule.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Our team has extensive product training and hands-on experience. We’re continually educated on the latest flooring and window treatment innovations through Carpet One’s training programs, manufacturer certifications, and industry events. Our technicians are trained, certified, and experienced in working with a variety of materials and installation techniques to ensure the job is done right.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

The Vertical Connection has been locally owned and operated since 1977. What started as a family business has grown into a trusted name in the community. Many of our team members came to this work because they enjoy design, problem-solving, and helping people transform their homes or properties. Over the years, we've built our reputation on service, quality, and relationships.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We work with a wide range of customers—from homeowners updating a single room to families renovating their entire home. On the professional side, we regularly partner with realtors, interior designers, contractors, and property managers. We also serve commercial clients, including office spaces, condo associations, and retail businesses. Whether it’s a cozy home project or a large-scale installation, we tailor our service to meet the unique needs of each customer.
