Introduction

Hello, Im Ray, I'm The owner of Ray's. Got a to-doo list that really needs to get done? Looking to turn your home or part of it into an Air B&B? Just bought a home and are realizing there a little more damage than first thought? Moving out and holy cow how could you have missed all the damage? Relax, take a breath, I can help you out. Hey, sometimes you just need a second set of hands and sometimes you need a nice break while someone else handles it for you. I got you covered either way. Call, get an estimate, they are free. Ask about lots of stuff we'll break down the estimate to as small as necessary. And as a bonus I throw in all the dad jokes and truly awful unsolicited life advice for free.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Let's go Brandon has hit all of us so we can discuss payment options, trades and 6 payments. I also accept bitcoin and homemade cookies.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First time I go into someones home I probably have as many questions as they have for me. I always try and stick to question for question first. Keeps everything from feeling one sided. It's a very diverse community I always try and not offend. So, I ask a lot of questions.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
20 years of network, telephony, video, data, data, and wireless installation and repairs. Right out of high school I was building new houses all around the Billings Mt area. I completed a vocational rehab course for carpentry and building maintenence. mostly though I spent my whole life always breaking everything. I had the reverse midas touch. as a result I can fix any darn thing you have around your house. I don't even need to know what the heck it's supposed to do.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I installed an app out of curiosity. After a while, I realized I didn't need a big chain of command over me. my success or failure was in my hands. Now my work ethic could finally benefit me and not someone who just takes the credit and passes along the criticism.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
30+ years working as a contractor most of that on the road 15 years or so of that I was the Palmer cable guy. Two years doing cable in Anchorage. I think I am safe making the claim. I've worked with about every type of person you could imagine

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I recently helped a close friend convert the upstairs of her house to an Air B&B, I built walls around the stairs to the front doorpit in a nice door for both the upstairs and down. Added a smart locking system to interior doors for renting as a 1-2 or three bedroom as well as blocking access to the linen closet and. It turned out very nice and rents out pretty steady.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
I my understanding is, the only way you can know that your hiring the right man for the job everytime. Just give me a call and watch the magic happen. if for some reason I'm not available. Then you probably need to postpone that project for a bit. or until my schedule thins out and then ....magic happens.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
1.budget. Budget money yes But think about how much time you can invest. That can derail your dream project just as much as money
