Introduction

I have a background both professionally, and personally, that enables me to connect and communicate with people in a professional manner and also put customers at ease knowing they can trust me around their homes, families, and budget with each project. I'm laid back, honest, like to work, and don't walk away from something unless I've done a good job. Everything that I've done for a living has led me to what I'm capable of today. From customer service, to heavy manual labor, hauling and rigging, and newer areas I'm becoming more efficient at like carpentry and landscape install. I actually like shoveling and challenging my physical ability, as well as my mind and learning how things are done by doing them myself. Mostly I like experiencing something new every time, and building confidence by gaining knowledge and skills. Also, meeting all likes of people and walking away knowing we both benefited from the experience.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
That I am a bit meticulous, all with the intention of making my client happy with my service. when there's room for interpretation, I'm not sure how thorough to be. "kinda clean this all up" is like a foreign language. so if I spend too much time on something, feel free to let me know that is sufficient. to me, raking the leaves is raking the leaves. not so much raking half the leaves

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I reached an early level of college life. I excelled in math and science from the get go, and am analytical and logical by nature. However, redundancy and sitting in class does not keep me engaged. not until age 23, did I discover that blue collar industries is what I prefer to have a career in. since then, I have been safety certified and trained by two very reputable companies on many aspects of personal, occupational, and public safety, as well as site-specific procedures for some of the biggest corporate entities in the country. my first concern is what is safe for myself and those around me, And always provide options for the customers best interest. untility/power line experience both overhead and underground, traffic safety, first aid, proper rigging hoisting, practically all power and hand tools

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
well.....I left the five cities, where I was born and raised, a couple years back after 8 years in the local labor union with one company. I didn't feel utilized and pursued a different outdoor construction trade. long story short, I came back home a year later, and started gardening and shoveling for extra cash. I've been acquiring tools as I needed them, as investments, as well as knowledge and skills. I love having something different to do every day, and meeting new people.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
All types of people. There is no good or bad, only different. different situations and backgrounds, expectations, and personalities. I'm grateful for every one, truly. when I went to my first customers house, I was trying to scrape by until I figured out my next move in between an aquired a desired career path. by the second or third job, I decided that if I could stay living in this beautiful place, making a living by earning it, meeting new people who give me new perspectives, and walk my dog at the beach,........ that I would in a heartbeat

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
are your ideas of budget and time frame realistic? ! haha jk.. is the work area accessible and practical for your plans? is this something you would rather save money on with an independent contractor if provided with references and pictures of past projects, or that you would pay more to have a crew that was licensed to handle the work? And have you accounted for any setbacks or delays on material, scheduling conflicts, or weather pushing back the agreed finish date, or have you maybe tried to fit your project in before an event where any setback would have severe impact on your plan.
