Introduction

At Kris's Landscaping we take pride in our work, we don't take any shortcuts. We do Design and Planting as well as removals of trees up to 15 feet. We are mostly known for planting and pruning, mostly geometrical shapes such as circles and squares as well as Japanese Maples, but we do many other things as well. Were not the cheapest but we are far from the most expensive. The business owner works in the nursery business as well and has many great connections when it comes to finding just the right plant, as well as researching and troubleshooting problems. When choosing Kris's Landscaping you have security in knowing that you are in the hands of professionals.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
We have a small but very efficient outfit, which allows us to be competitive with pricing. I would say we are fair. Not going to be the cheapest nor the most expensive. You get what you pay for.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Very easy to work with, most of the time i'm able to work out a price without a home visit, and once we have a price worked out, that price is what you pay. In other words were very transparent and straight forward. Our goal with every customer is to create a long term relationship.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I've been in or around the plant industry my entire life. I grew up in South Florida building Green Houses for my fathers company. I've worked at nurseries, and the small business that I have put my heart and soul into is my pride and joy and I am proud of the works that we've done as well as the relationships that we've created.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Grew up building Green Houses for my fathers company and i fell in love with working with the plants. I always show up in a great mood because i genuinely love what I do.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with many types of different people in the Bethesda area and still do. My goal is to create a lasting relationship. I want to be someone you can call to depend on as I have been for others. example, just the other day a repeat return customer of mine had a garden walk and a tree fell the day before. I was there at 7am the next day to get the tree and the property cleaned up for the walk at 2pm.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I get to work in some of the coolest yards in Bethesda so I get to do alot of fun projects. I enjoy colors, as you can see in the pictures I provide i plant a ton of Japanese Maples (i have great connections for them) as well as layouts and when given permission ill put my spin on it. I want to catch peoples attention and i want people to ask you "who did that !!!"

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Buy your own plants. Your going to pay a 20% markup from a landscaper for a plant with no warranty when you could swing by a nursery and not only save yourself the 20% markup but you can walk away with a warranty for a year or 2 and when spending 300-1k on a Japanese Maple or a few Boxwoods which are pricey simply because of the time they take to grow. Financially it just makes sense for the customer. A good Landscaper that wants the best would suggest this as well as give some guidance on where to go if need be.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
None, that's what you pay us for. Tell me what you want and ill make it happen.
