Introduction

We are a business of friends and family dedicated to hard work and integrity. We are motivated by our love of all things that grow. Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
For most jobs, we offer a flat fee of $700 per tree. This includes pick up, delivery, tree planting, and a detailed watering schedule. If it is a difficult location or a rare/expensive species of tree the price will be adjusted accordingly. For brush and dead and downed removal, we will need to come out in most instances to look at the sight and give a quote.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Our customers can email or call our planters and ask questions about the planting sight, the desired tree species, and size, as well as any other questions that come to mind. We can help make decisions about what might be best for your location, soil, and home. We typically need about 7-10 days to order, pick up, deliver, and plant the new trees in their forever home.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Our planters have a diverse background and experience that make a great fit for this kind of work. We have two leads in planting and brush removal and they make a great team. Tanner has years of experience in construction, equipment operation, property management, and landscaping. Aaron, a veteran with experience in regenerative agriculture and property management has a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science. He has studied soil, vegetation, and wildlife management. In addition to his time here at Seasons Landcare, he manages his farm.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
We love and desire to serve the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit and all of his creation. We will work hard to enable others to enjoy the wonderful trees in your own backyard. We really want all people to flourish and our ecosystems to thrive together. Trees are a great way to have an impact.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have worked with a wide variety of customers. We have worked with farmers to thin woods and work towards silvopasture, with homesteaders who wish to establish orchards on their property, and with residential folks who just want a beautiful shade tree in their backyard.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Last spring, we helped a couple who wanted to establish a small orchard on their land. We planted about 15 fruit trees that ranged from about eight feet to 12 feet tall. We had a great time helping them get started in their endeavor, and it took about two days.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look at pricing and go for a larger tree if possible. It takes years for trees to mature. Let them do that at the farm, and let us plant a 10-15 foot tree for you. For big companies, you will pay huge prices for larger trees. Ask around and find out what they are charging, and then give us a call.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Customers should think about their soil and how much room will be needed in the future. Some trees do well in damp soil, and others in well-drained soil. Consider what kind of trees you might like, and then pick one that will thrive in your environment. Trees that are planted in environments that aren't conducive to their needs can grow weak and sickly and may even die. Save yourself some trouble and give us a call. We would love to help.
