What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing for lawn mowing includes edging & trimming. Quotes are subject to change based on the difficulty of the job (tall grass, steep hills, and etc.) though this usually doesn’t happen because of my thorough onboarding process.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Communication is everything. I typically ask for pictures of the property when giving a quote, then initially I prefer to do a walk through with the customer to allow them the opportunity to point out anything specific needing address when I work (weeds on a sidewalk, avoiding sprinkler heads, etc). After the first service, I return weekly or biweekly when mowing on a routine schedule, complete the service to the customers specific standards and send them a message when complete.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have been landscaping and gardening for most of my life.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I grew up in Troy, Ohio. My mom is an Ohio Master Gardener and always brought me along for extra help every summer when she would be working for clients. After high school I worked for two different landscaping companies and really fell in love with being outside and working with my hands.
