What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My rate is $50/hr with a 4 hour minimum requirement.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Associate's degree in Horticulture Minor in floriculture

How did you get started doing this type of work?

About 18 years ago I was obsessed with trees especially oak trees and decided go for a degree in horticulture. I've worked for several years as a greenhouse manager on a private estate. I took care of all small trees, shrubs and flowers on a 100 acre estate. I've also worked as a horticulturist on a private golf course doing the flowers around the course and for the outside weddings. For many years I've been the gardener for a popular interior design business and other residential estates.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Large 25 to 100 acre estates with equestrian businesses, commercial retail businesses, and private residential properties.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

I have done so many projects and I want to show pictures of it on Thumbtack. I'm new on thumbtack and will in the near future show more pics. The pictures I do show I fully installed all the existing plants including some the lilac hedges.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

To go green and keep their gardens and landscape animal friendly and free from pesticides and other toxic products.
