What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Pricing is tailor according to the which season. For example; lawn care season. What every company is charging. Winter, snow removal. Prices of salt, gas, insurance, maintenance. Small amounts of these expenses are incorporated into the pricing every season

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have education in electrical diagnostic for irrigation systems as well as repairs. I have training in lawn care and customer services

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I work for a company that install irrigation systems and provided landscaping. The owner was completely involved in every project. He was a type of person who never was afraid of getting his hands dirty. He took notice in me and then he became my mentor. When talking to customers he would make sure I was there to only listen while he talk to the customer. He wanted me to understand how to interact with customers and listen to what the customer was looking for and to understand the customer needs. Landscaping also was part of the irrigation business. After an irrigation system was install the customer lawn had to re-level, removal of rocks and re-seeded to bring the lawn back to its natural state.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Commercial and residential customers. We also provide our services to local schools and local colleges .

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

The project was to install an irrigation system in a college that maintain low water usage. The system also provided a collective system that collected the unused water and return it back to holding tanks. The collective tanks provided water to fill mobile tanks that be driven to areas that did not or could not provide water for planting beds or lawn areas. To install this system, it took approximately eight weeks from getting the design approval to complete install.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Meet with owner of the company. Ask questions regarding the type of work you looking to have done. Establish an open line of communication so there will be no missed understanding.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

The customer should be thinking about questions regarding their project. And while they are asking questions to the contractor they will get to know a little about the contractor.
