Introduction

My focus is creative alignment with the clients desires. Some clients want simple, clean portraits with desert backdrop, others want candid wedding shots that look natural and familiar. Some want short fast TikTok style cuts, some want slow cinematic video. I love it all. I think being able to create photo and video in collaboration with the client always yields the best images. I have shot landscape photo and video for years and since involving the human element I have found such rewarding experiences combining those passions with people and families. I shoot photo, video, drone and Timelapse. I am passionate about golden hours and chasing photos of the moon and humpback whales in my spare time.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Good question. I think my customers know my pricing is fair, and competitive, and reflects the kind of care and value I put in for my work. Gear, travel, insurance, editing, and professional content are all factors of the pricing which is charged. Whether with me or another professional.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Personally, I love to have a phone call with a client. Where as email and text are nice and convenient, I think connecting over the phone (or even FaceTime) is important to tune in on the nuance of matching my deliverable to what the customer is looking for.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Ten years of camera experience. "Youtube academy" is where I learned a lot of my craft.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started taking my camera on hikes and subsequently started shooting landscapes and landscapes with people in them. Naturally people started asking for photos and being that I love capturing great light, it felt like a no brainer.
