Introduction

Welcome to Sierra Vista Media, where every frame is crafted to captivate. Since 2016 as Aerial 360, we've elevated commercial, real estate, event, and inspection projects by capturing the essence of each scene. I always enjoy seeing the expressions of the amazed customers when they see the not only the quality of the work but the how the subject was framed in the sometimes very dramatic reveal.

Q&A

unfold fold
We believe in affordable aerial imagery and try to work within the budgets of our clients.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
1) We listen and discuss your specific requirements and concerns. Together we'll collaborate on exactly what the ideal outcome of the aerial project is to be. We'll be defining your project's purpose and scope, and agree on exacly what, when, where and why. 2) After defining the project and appointing the project team, we're ready to enter the detailed Flight Planning phase. This involves creating a Flight Plan document to help guide us throughout the project delivery ensuring safety and FAA compliance. 3) With a clear definition of the project and a detailed project plan, we are now ready to enter the Execution phase of the project. After the plan is finalized we run through our final flight checklist and fly the mission(s). 4) The last step is delivering the imagery product in a digital format of your choice of secure download, thumb drive, or DVD. The last remaining step is to undertake a project review to note any lessons learned for future projects.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We have a broad range of experience from working with large corporate commercial organizations like Walgreens, Aldi and NTB to City Governments of Burnsville and Savage. We work with local roof inspection companies, residential and commercial real estate agents as well as private parties.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I had a client with a large lake home for sale that was particularly difficult with the trees surrounding the home but found a way to program flights to "drop in" as a bird might do to the front and lake-side entries that proved very satisfying to the client.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Find out what their experience is. Just having the FAA certification means the person can past a difficult test. The real test is flying safe in sometimes difficult conditions. Also having the ability to envision a dramatic reveal to the subject is crucial in conjunction to program the flight(s) via GPS waypoints for a smooth cinematic look is also important.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What the end goal(s) are and what a reasonable budget would be.
