What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Depends on the type of work. For example, Interior Designers, Architects, Construction clients they do have different needs and the pricing goes along with that. Full Day, Half Day rates is not uncommon vs per job or assignment pricing that could be for someone in Real Estate or starting up company with a limited budget. At the end everyone wins.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

To establish their vision, to work with their budget and to deliver the images in a prompt manner.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Associate Degree in Photography and multiple workshops and training by other professionals.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Love of Architecture, Art, Beautiful People and Objects.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I photograph structure interiors and exteriors for interior designers, real estate professionals, architects, construction companies, catalog designers, fashion designers, etc.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

A project done for a Northern California Artist by the name of Gordon Huether. The photo shoot was in a Palm Desert residence in which many of his pieces were acquired by the home owner. I was fond of this one due to the nature of the request. It was not just photographing Art but within the surroundings of the home setting. The team of two plus owners help took us all day from early morning to dusk. Great memories

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask for samples of their work, website, published work, etc.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Is the photographer reliable, time efficient, hard working, lighting savvy.
