Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I work with all budgets, don’t hesitate to inquire.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I try to make this as painless as possible. I am very cordial and easy to get along with. Most of my customer contact is via emails, text or phone.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have many years of photography education. I initially went school to learn how to take pictures, but then went back to learn about the business end.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Coming from a musical background, and not becoming the “rock star” I wanted to be. I picked up the camera over 20 years ago to fill my creative void. Since then I’ve been going strong sharing my artsy talent with others.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I’ve worked with a vast variety of clients through the years. Photographing many weddings, headshots, seniors, concerts, sports, school portraits, and events.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
The wedding books I create have a special place in my heart. To see the tears of joy and satisfaction with each clients first viewing reminds me as to why I’m in this line of work.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Photography is very personal. Compatibility and being comfortable with who you’re working with is super important.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Photography is very competitive. Do your research, know your budget and hire a photographer for the style that fits your needs
