Introduction

*Please note my pricing listed is a starting price for 1 hour (: Please do not reach out if out of budget as I have to pay for leads! Mattea LinAe is a photographer specializing in timeless, high-end imagery. Her photos emphasize authenticity and emotional connection, often capturing raw, unposed moments that feel intimate and natural. Finding inspiration in the stories that people have to tell and focusing on capturing their essence in a way that feels both personal and timeless - her approach reflects a deeper connection to the human experience, which is central to her photography. Adopted from Korea, her experience with feeling like the ‘odd one out’ has taught her to always be in search of the people, places, and things that often go unnoticed. Her compositions often focus on the details—the subtle interactions between people, the textures of environments, and the play of light and shadow—all contributing to a story within each image. She has spent the last decade continuing to travel the world and documenting stories for hundreds of people, places, and brands and plans to do so for the rest of her life. As seen in Vogue, Architectural Digest, Forbes, Eater, Harper's Bazaar and more

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Prices vary--message for rates. My editing turn around time is typically 5-7 business days.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I've been in business for about a decade. I'm completely self- taught and have learned everything I know from experience!

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started a fashion blog back in 2014, and took a lot of photos of my friends' outfits. Over time I just learned to love being behind the camera! Being in front of the camera has helped form who I am as a photographer as I quickly learned flattering poses and how to work with props and various scenes.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Everything from small and intimate sessions, to higher pressured sets with celebrity talent / brands and bigger budgets.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Make sure you find a photographer that can match your vibe. You don't want a photographer that edits dark and contrasted images if you want your (for example) wedding images to be light and bright/dreamy! If you have a specific vision for your shoot, be sure to communicate that up front to ensure you're all on the same page.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Turn around time, location/travel fees, deliverables, timeline, and purpose.
