Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Our pricing is based on several components that go into photography: hourly time spent taking photos, time spent editing, equipment upkeep, and travel time. We are willing to work with your budget, so please don't hesitate to let us know what you are thinking!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
First, we will discuss what you are looking for and pricing. Usually, this is done over email (or even text!). Then if you are interested we can meet in person (if possible) or talk on the phone and hash out some more details. When you are ready to book, we send over a contract for you to sign along with a short questionnaire to fill out. Then we proceed with your event/photoshoot!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Bachelor's degree in Cinematic Arts from Azusa Pacific University

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Evan has grown up surrounded by "photogs". His father, mother, and sister all had a photography phase. Evan always has a camera in hand and loves taking photos whenever he can. Cydney grew up loving film and movies so when the time came to go to college, she chose to study film at Azusa Pacific University. Her love for film eventually pointed her in the direction of still photography where she found her calling.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Families, children, singles, couples.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
Recently we took some christmas photos for a cute little family and we played around with christmas lights. The photos turned out great and they were so festive and fun!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
With technology nowadays, everyone can be a photographer - "technically." What you need to look for is the artistic direction behind the photo, the editing of the photo and if you feel a connection with and are comfortable with the photographer - these together will ultimately bring out the best photos.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What style of photography they are looking for :: If they like a lot of direction and posing or if they'd rather have more candid shots :: when and where they would like to shoot :: specific poses they'd like or not like to do :: what their budget is for photos
