Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Learning the client's needs and style is first priority to make sure we would be a good fit. After the photography session has taken place, we typically have a 1 week turn around for portrait photography and a 2-3 week turn around for events like weddings. We have an online client gallery that you can download your digital files as well as order prints.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I personally have a BFA in Film with a Minor in Photography from CU. I have also been a professional photographer since 2016 with years more experience before that.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've been taking photos since I was a kid. Some of my first Christmas presents were cameras! I've always loved it and am so happy to make photography and video a career.

What types of customers have you worked with?

We have worked customers from all walks of life and have found our focus with alternative couples who want intimate weddings that express their unique love story.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Hiring a photographer can be overwhelming and confusing. There are so many out there that have many different specialties. I've been able to help my clients the most when they had a few examples of what they were looking for. I'm able to look at those quickly and know the style that the client wants and if I'm the right person to take those photos.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Look out for some other photos on other platforms that you really like. That will help you find a style that you can communicate to your hired photographer.
