We are a husband-and-wife photography team. We bring the passion and synergy that only a husband and wife can do. We often work together, though we will split up if a second shooter isn't needed. What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If you are hiring someone to photograph your wedding, try to find someone that you really click with. Your photographer(s) will be with you more than anyone else at your wedding. We really try to get to know the couple beforehand. We like to do engagement pictures with a couple so that we can get to know them personally as well as photographically. And most people are not naturally comfortable in front of a camera. Photographing a couple before their wedding day often helps them to feel more comfortable in front of our camera on their wedding day. If we don't do engagement pictures, we like to meet up in person or over Skype at least once.
