Introduction

Riverstone Images Studio has been offering commercial photography services since 2008, working with businesses, from small start-ups to large corporations. High quality imagery is no longer a luxury but a necessity for the digital marketplace. That is what I do - ensure a quality visual presence so your product, food or property stands out among the rest. Attention to detail and composition, from concept to final product, I love helping clients visualize an idea. Besides commercial projects I also offer event photography, including small weddings, parties and corporate gatherings - capturing all the emotion and important moments. If you are in need of a portrait or headshot, look no further than Riverstone Images Studio where I also offer Fine Art Portraits. These are painterly portraits that are of heirloom quality. It is a unique and high-end experience like no other. Period costumes and props are encouraged! If a fine art portrait is not your thing, that's okay, I also offer standard portrait or headshot sessions as well.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Each job is individually priced due to the uniqueness and quantity of images per project. Generally I will charge either $30/hour or per piece in a range of $5-30.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
After an initial conversation by phone or email to discuss the specifics of the project, determining the goals, style and price, I will then submit a contract for review and signature. Typically I can begin photographing a project within a few days to a week's notice.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I earned an Associate's Degree in Graphic Communications from Gateway-Community-Technical College in New Haven in 2005. Courses for this degree were design-oriented and photography-intensive. These classes, along with years of experience, have given me the skills to confidently create images with a strong composition, depth of field, perspective and proper lighting. Additionally I have a long experience using Photoshop, an extremely important tool that I use for my post-processing and editing.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
Photography was always a hobby for as long as I can remember. From travel to landscapes, I transitioned from film to digital in the early 2000's. Upon completing my college degree I knew then that this was the career path I wanted to follow.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I work with a diverse group of professionals, many being repeat clientele, from corporate events, restaurant owners and ecommerce start-ups to real estate agents, artists and interior designers. I have worked with large commercial clients such as Walgreen's and JCDecaux Advertising and so many other companies, large and small.
