Introduction

We specialize in both photo and video for corporate events, conferences and social events. As well as creating food and restaurant related content. Dro Photography & Video provides high quality photos and video in the Orlando area. The company is led by lead photographer (myself) David Rosario and alongside a very reliable and talented team. Some of the companies that we've been connected with on Thumbtack and have done work for include: * Burger King * Stella Artois * GUESS * Dove • Buffalo Wild Wings * Home Depot * Shipt * Sabra Hummus * Lufthansa Airlines * Total Wine & More * NYU * Redbull * Target * Winn-Dixie * New Era Hat Company * and many more. I think what stands out with my work and the work of everyone who works for our company is that we have years of formal training in photography where we experienced film and studied some of photography's early masters. We combine that education with years of experience as "journalist-first" photography and our keen eye for composition and color....and well, you have our unique style. Plus, we pride ourselves in our post-production editing as well. We provide photography and video services, which include the following: * Event Photography * Event Videography * Corporate Videos * Food Photography (and styling) * Restaurant Marketing Assets (photos, videos, menu shoots, interiors/exteriors) * Film Production * Commercial Videography We hope to hear from you and hopefully work with you on your project. I love meeting people and getting to capture them via photo and film in their time of happiness and enjoyment whether at a photoshoot or at an event. Thank you for your interest. Please do not hesitate to contact us for more details.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Unfortunately, every job is different so our approach is to quote each project on a one-by-one basis because there are way too many variables. But we promise to be competitive and give you tons of options to customize everything towards your needs and budget.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
Typically, we'd like you to give us as much information as possible about your project and if possibly show us some visual examples of what you'd like your final product to look like. We also over a client questionnaire in case you'd like to really get specific with your needs. And if needed, we can also set up a sit-down consultation depending on the size and scope of the job. We always like to be as detailed as possible in the early stages, not only so we can be prepared to give you the best work possible, but to also make sure you can feel confident in leaving the photo & video in our hands while you focus on other priorities.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
Aside from having attended a specialty 4-year art program in high school and then majoring in photography in college, I attend workshops often to continue improving my skill sets in photography and video. I also attend a couple trainings a year for the latest camera updates and for filming techniques. I definitely subscribe to the motto that you can never stop learning and you can never stop improving the quality of your work. - David

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I always grew up in the arts as all of my siblings were either painters or illustrators, and even though I could also paint and draw as well, I decided to take the path of photography as I saw it as more of a challenge to create beautiful images. - David

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
We shoot mostly corporate events and parties in both photo and video form. But we are capable of taking on photography assignments that are in the realm of creating colorful and though provoking portraits and assignments with a journalistic appeal as well. - David

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
On the photo side, recently, we shot a 4-day conference and corporate event for a client. It was a very intense schedule with multiple rooms to cover at the same time, but after all was said and done, we turned in 4 full days of coverage and the client said that after many years of doing large scale conferences, our photos were the best they've ever gotten and were amazed at the results. Responses like that fuel us to keep going and to keep improving. We shot a video for Urban Decay Cosmetics last year for a marketing agency from Los Angeles. It was an event video of a private event and we were extremely happy at the wonderful visuals and colors we were able to capture during the event. The clients were happy and so were we. Not only that, but since shooting that event locally, I have since shot about 7-8 events for that same client all of the country. - David

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
1. Do your research. 2. Be realistic and honest about your budget. 3. Be as detailed as possible about your event to your provider. The more details the better, so that we can help provide you with a proper and accurate quote, but at the same time that will also help us to see where we have room for possible lower price adjustments or even for discounts.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
You get to meet and befriend a lot of interesting people and a times even famous people - that's a perk to photography. But one misconception is that a photographer or videographer shows up to the shoot or event and soon its over....that's it. And that's far from the truth. To me that's only 20-25% of the job, the rest of the job is spent in post production which is very time consuming and important to the final end product. - David
