Introduction

8 years in business I love helping to bring out the best in people. It's one of my greatest passions and skills. That's also why I love videography and photography because I have a knack for capturing those magical moments in a persons life and capturing what makes them unique and special. And it's just fun! I have all sorts of camera gear I have invested in but lately I've gone to Canon because I love their lenses. I also do Drone work as well (Mavic Pro 2)

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
I offer flat rates as opposed to hourly. This so I can give the client peace of mind that we will be able to cover their full event and/or photography needs

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
My typical process is getting in touch with them right away, over the phone or through video chat so we can immediately get aquatinted. They can ask me all the questions they have and we can go over what they need and want with full conceptional understanding.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have been doing some aspect of film, video and photography for over 12 years now. I studied not only videography but also learned audio engineering, photography and went to college for Entertainment Business

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I started out doing sound design and music for films. Shortly there after I learned to edit footage and became very interested in learning how to capture the type of footage I was editing. I then became a full time videographer and then shortly there after added photography to my skill set

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
I have worked with a very wide range of customer. All ages, genders and cultures. It's one of the things I love best about what I do.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A recent project I am fond of was a music video I shoot in Oregon. It was for an up and coming vocalist who was doing her first music video. The project took a few weeks to get done including flying back and forth from Florida to Portland. The video cam out wonderful, the song was beautiful to begin with and the whole project was a blast for me.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
The best advice I can give a customer looking to hire a pro photographer or videographer is to ask as many questions as you want answers for. There aren't any bad questions. Since both photography and video are creative processes, there are countless ways a project can be accomplished and it's just a matter of both parties coming together as a team so the vision becomes real. It's a beautiful process and each project is different and will have it's own unique qualities and aspects. So from that prospective, the client should share their vision with the creator and let the pro know were they have room for their own creative touch. Have fun with it and let the rest manifest itself from there.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What is your vision for the photoshoot or video itself. Look at other photos and videos you like and send it to the pro and ask them if they can deliver an equivalent. Or look at some of their work and tell them what you like about their work and ask if they can do the same for you. If it's a unique idea that you have, see who's work seems to match up with that vision and go from there
