Hi, hello! Welcome! I'm Chalyse Daugherty. I'm a military wife, a mom to three little boys, and a photographer currently based out of Kingsland, GA. I travel far & wide, and to nearby and surrounding cities. I've had a camera in my hand for as long as I can remember, always having the motto "you'll only regret the photos you didn't take!" I love capturing your candid, special memories & chapters of life you hope to never forget. I look forward to working with you, getting to know you & helping bring your vision to life!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Although I have pretty standard prices, if you have a vision and a set budget, please let me know & I'll do my best to accommodate where able!

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

If you have a vision, I'm here to help bring it to life! First we'll discuss availability and location, then we'll talk details. If you have any questions or need feedback, I'm an open book!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I'm currently set to graduate with my Bachelor's in Digital Design: Photographic Design in August 2024. Outside of this degree, I've taken a number of past college courses and mentorships to ensure I'm confident in what I'm able to provide as your photographer.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I've had friends and mentors, I've learned from the best of the best! I enjoyed capturing small moments within my family, and it's gradually grown to more than just a hobby. I hope to be able to help capture your most treasured memories, as well!

What types of customers have you worked with?

Everyone you can imagine throughout my years as a professional photographer. I'm also accepting of *EVERY* type of love. Your love is safe with me!

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

As I'm updating this question (April 2024), it's mid-wedding season, so busy busy! My most recent wedding was a micro wedding in Lehi, Utah. It was intimate and elegant, the bride was an absolute vision, and I'm always so honored to be trusted with these moments.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Ask questions! Look at their style and past work - see what seems to fit your style & vision! I know I like to make sure I vibe with my couples; I want to be sure we're both a good fit. Ask questions, ask turnaround times & what's included with their package. (My bragging right as a photographer? Photos are all inclusive here, so there aren't additional hidden fees!).

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Where are you envisioning your photos? What style or vibe are you going for? Do you like the bright & airy? Dark & moody? Somewhere in the middle? Look at their editing style - this is important!
