Introduction

My job as a photographer is to help you tell your story: Real estate, products or services, and corporate events, I will bring my experience, my range of photography and lighting equipment, and my passion to help you create images that make an impact. Photography has been a lifetime passion for me when my uncle gave me my first SLR camera at age twelve. I've progressed from film and darkrooms to digital imaging, aerial photography as a licensed remote pilot, and advanced digital editing techniques. What has not changed is my commitment to helping you capture the places, events, and moments that matter.

Q&A

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

unfold fold
Pricing averages $200/hour for services, which typically includes from 10 - 15 high quality digital images for each hour. The price is inclusive of the photography kit I use, including mirrorless cameras with a variety of lenses to be used in different shooting types and supplementary lighting when needed.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
The beginning starts with an intake form, where I learn about what the goal of the session is, preferred style, and other details. After reviewing this information, I like to set up a short meeting to discuss the details and make sure your expectations are met.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have been a photographer for several decades, with experience shooting sports, new events, corporate events, and weddings. My background is in film and darkrooms, but I now use high-end Canon digital cameras to take the images and, using some of the same darkroom techniques developed over the years, use Lightroom and other digital imaging tools in post-processing. The final result uses the latest technology and techniques to deliver the best results.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
My uncle gave me my first SLR camera when I was a teenager. From there, it turned into a serious hobby with branches into professional photography over the years. Now I have moved into photography full time.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Corporate executives and staff, small business owners, families, and individuals.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
A photo shoot for a trainer. I went to the gym to catch her in action with a client for the most realistic shots. I was there for the one-hour session and used portable lights to get the action without stopping the flow.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Look at the results from previous clients and make sure you like them.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
The best question: When everything is said and done, how do I want the final images to look?
