What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing is fair for the amount of photos you receive. I don’t limit you to selecting only a few of the best ones. I guarantee that you’ll receive at least 40 edited images when you book a 1 hour session. What ever good photos that come out within the session I will edit then hand them over to you digitally and all high resolution.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I always call new clients. I like to be able to connect with my clients so they feel more comfortable booking with me. Since I’m not able to have in person consultations, I like to be able to meet my clients over the phone and answer any questions they might have.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Ever since I can remember, my mom had a camera in her hand. She captured photos of me and my sister as we grew up so that we could look back all the fun moments we had. everything I learned was from her as well as adding my own creative twist to the photos I take. I was born and raised here on the island of Oahu! Knowing the island so well helps me to be able to suggest secluded locations for your photography session 🤗

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I’ve loved photography since I was a teenager! It all started when I was around 16 and all I wanted to do was take photos of my friends surfing. I brought my camera every where I went just to catch every candid moment with my friends and family! I eventually started taking on photography projects whether it was a friends senior portraits or a family friends small wedding. I loved making people smile when I showed them the moments I captured. After doing more and more photo sessions, I decided to make this my career! :)

What types of customers have you worked with?

I’ve worked with everyone that you could imagine! From small infants as young as 2 months old, to couples celebrating their 50 anniversary here in Hawaii!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

I would recommend looking through the photographers whole profile before you select her/him and making sure everything is what you’re looking for! After that I would recommend talking to professional over the phone to get an idea of what they’re like. If it were me, I would wanna connect with my photographer before I shoot with them so I know I’d feel comfortable ☺️

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

If I were in the search of a photographer on vacation I would want to know what the locations look like that this photographer suggests. Next I would ask what’s include with each package. How long of a session would you recommend? On average, how many quality photos would I receive at the end of my session? What time of day do you recommend for my session? What color clothing works best in your opinion? I love establishing connections with all my clients which is why I always recommend a phone call to figure out the details for your session. It’s also a good way of meeting each other before our session 🙂
