What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing reflects not just time spent shooting, but also planning, editing, location scouting, and making sure you have the best experience possible! I offer a variety of packages for elopements, couples, and intimate weddings. Please feel free to message me so we can find the right pricing within your budget for you. Travel within the islands is usually included, and I’m always transparent—no hidden fees here. My goal is for you to leave Hawaii with affordable, quality photos that will last a lifetime.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we’ll hop on a discovery call or connect via messages to talk about your ideal session. Once you're ready to book, we will set a date and you'll receive a payment link to hold your spot. Payment is in full upon booking. Then we move into planning—think timeline help, location ideas (including hidden gems only locals know), outfit inspo, and more. On your special day, I’ll guide you through a relaxed, fun shoot while capturing the real, unfiltered magic between you. Afterward, you'll receive a beautiful online gallery with downloadable, high-resolution images to relive every moment. Roughly 50-100 photos is what you can expect, sometimes more!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve studied marketing and business management, which helps me bring a thoughtful and strategic approach to every shoot. I’ve also spent years behind the lens, refining my style, learning the latest editing techniques, and understanding how to create movement and emotion in every frame. Photography is my passion, and I’m always growing, learning, and staying inspired. In addition to years of hands-on experience photographing couples in Hawaii’s most breathtaking locations, I’ve been featured in Minted Weddings, USA Today’s 10 Best (for a dreamy sailboat session on the Vida Mia), and recognized as a Top Experience Host by Airbnb with the "Once in a Lifetime" award. I’m also a proud member of the Professional Photographers of America, which means I stay up to date with best practices and industry standards.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started by taking photos of friends and couples for fun, and I instantly fell in love with the storytelling aspect. Living in Hawaii, surrounded by beauty and adventure, it just felt natural to combine my love for people, photography, and this amazing place into a business. Over time, it blossomed into something special—capturing moments for couples who are wildly in love.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I’ve worked with couples visiting Hawaii for their elopement, locals celebrating their love, and even adventurous souls who just wanted to document a spontaneous beach session or mountaintop vow exchange. Whether you’re camera-shy or total naturals, I meet you where you are and make sure you feel confident and celebrated.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of my recent favorites was an early morning sunrise elopement on a north shore beach by The Ritz Cartlon at Turtle Bay. The couple brought handwritten vows and had their ceremony barefoot in the sand overlooking the ocean. It was raw, emotional, and unforgettable. We spent about 2 hours shooting, but the connection and joy made it feel timeless.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for someone whose style feels like you. Do you want bold and moody? Light and airy? Natural and full of movement? The right photographer should match your energy and make you feel comfortable and seen. Trust and connection are everything—when you vibe with your photographer, the magic flows naturally. Look for someone who respects the land of Hawaii and has all their permits, as required by the State of Hawaii.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Think about what kind of memories you want to walk away with. Are you envisioning something adventurous and spontaneous, or more structured and traditional? Consider your location preferences, outfits, and any sentimental details you want to include. Having a general idea will help us dream up something amazing together!
