All projects are priced after a consultation with the client. You can choose a per shot price or day rate plus expenses.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

First we start with a face to face meeting if its possible. We discuss the scope of the project and costs. Then all is left is to shoot the project.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

30 years in the business as a photographer and studio owner.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

Started as an assistant in a large studio in downtown Chicago in 1980.

What types of customers have you worked with?

Everyone from small business owners to large corporations.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

An ad project for a national college bookstore. I got to photograph my niece who is a volleyball player. She was my model for the ad.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Don't just rely on online contact. Try to talk and meet the provider to confirm they are the right fit for your project.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

If you are hiring a professional please have a strong idea of the project and your budget. Have a realistic time frame. Many photographers are booked well in advance during certain times of year.
