I'm a portrait and event photographer with 15 years of professional experience behind the camera in NYC, LA, and Boston. ***I do NOT offer video services. One of my strengths is that I am a people person - I have the ability to ease all my clients to feel comfortable during our time. I am skilled technically with lighting and direction while still being very patient and personable. This balance I believe is the key to my candid and intimate photos. I always tell my clients "If you don't look good, I don't look good". I make it a priority to check in with you throughout my process, to show you images on the back of the camera. This way we stay on the same page and you're able to walk away feeling great about your photos and experience.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

My process starts with a brief phone consultation where I can hear more about what you're looking for and provide you more insight into the flow of everything.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I'm self taught through 15+ years of working in the field. I frequently take photography workshops and read to elevate my eye and craft.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

After a fire of my family's home, we lost all of our belongings expect a box of family photos under my grandmother's bed. Those photos become precious to me in a way I could have never imagined prior. This moment sparked my mission and passion to capture new photo memories of my family and friends. It helped me focus on the love and moments we had in the present, instead of all that was lost in the fire.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I work with a wide array of customers, business people, actors, families. If it involves capturing photos of people that’s always my favorite area of focus.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

lately my focus has been on events and celebrations. I love capturing intimate moments that matter and will never happen in the same way again.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Depending on my availability, booking a few days advance could be possible. I recommend reaching out at least a few weeks in advance.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

My advice would be to ask yourself a few questions -- Do you actually love the pro’s photography? you’ll most likely be receiving the quality they showcase. Read a few reviews, can you relate to the previous client’s needs and did the photographer help achieve them in a way that relates to you?
