What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

A conversation is the best way to get to know each other. I offer a complimentary consultation so that we can get to know each other and I can understand your goals for the session. At that time, we will also plan your custom session. After the complimentary consultation session, you will book your photo session. A non-refundable session retainer is due to book your session. This retainer blocks my time to serve you, covers my time to take the images, hand edit the best images, and to have a private in-person viewing session with you where you will choose your images to purchase. At the shoot itself, we will start by taking some fun shots to get you comfortable in front of the camera. Depending on your session, we may go to a few location We will walk away with a lot of great images to work with. Within a couple of weeks, your edited images will be ready for viewing. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I’ve always been a photographer and have dedicated as much time to honing my photographic expertise as I did when I earned my MBA. I also dedicate time each day to learn something new or gain more knowledge on an existing skill.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
High school seniors, families, authors, engaged couples, personal branding (headshots), people who want images for social media, and corporate events.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
First, find someone whose photographic style matches your style. Then look for a photographer who shares the same goals as you. I love to work with people who want authentic photos and for me to capture the best of you. I want you to showcase your images in your home. We live in a society where people take a lot of pictures, and print virtually none. Collectively, we need to ensure that we are not the lost generation and that we have images that are of archival quality and can be passed down to the next generation. As a professional, I am licensed and insured.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
What do you want to get out of the session? Where/how would you like to display your images? Is passing down archival quality prints and wall art important to you? How important is print quality (when choosing a photographer, ensure that they use a professional lab that is calibrated to their editing). If digital files are your preference, how do you intend to protect them from becoming corrupted, lost, or unreadable due to changing technology?
