What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I price my services competitive to the local market.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I'm very flexible and easy to work with. I will find out what the client is looking for by asking some questions and then I will suggest different poses. We can meet outside at a few places I like to go to (or if the client has a suggestion) or in my studio - it depends on what the client is looking for.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I learned by doing and by taking a few online courses.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started taking pictures of nature and wildlife and it just grew from there.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with kids, entrepreneurs and professionals.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

There was an old bench sitting alone at a park and I pictured in my mind an older man sitting on it reading the newspaper. I asked my father-in-law to sit there with the paper so I could capture what I saw. It was really fun and the photos turned out great. The session took about 20 minutes.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Have a good idea of what you're looking for. If I can understand exactly what you're looking for then I will be able to capture it. If you have some photos of what you're looking for that's even better.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

What background do you want? What poses are you looking for? What's your budget? How many photos to you want? Do you want digital only or do you want prints? Do you want to change clothes?
