How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started flying drones 8 years ago as a hobby. Friends would ask me to take pictures and video of family events and weddings.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

My most recent aerial photo shoot was photographing a condo for roof damage. The shoot was approximately 6 hours in duration. There were over 1100 photos taken.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

First and foremost, make sure that they are FAA certified. There are many drone pilots that are not trained or properly insured.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

First: Is it lawful for a drone to fly at my location. The area in which your project is located may need special permission or be prohibited by the FAA. Second: What is your insurance liability, are you properly insured? Third: What is your experience in providing the service I require?
