I'm a 25yr veteran commercial and portrait photographer here in Minneapolis. I shoot Portrait,Food,Fashion and product photography for clients like Heinz, Pepsico, Target, 3M and GM. First and foremost is to find out what is your budget? What can we do to get you what you need for a good price.

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

Sitting down face to face and talking about what we can do to create images to fit their brand.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have a degree in Commercial/Portrait photography and have been a professional for 25yrs. I'm and expert in lighting and set design.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

After graduating from college, I was a freelance assistant to commercial photographers here in Minneapolis.

What types of customers have you worked with?

I've worked with BMW, Heinz, Target, Anderson windows,and Pepsico to name a few.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

Shooting a project for a galley showing of different hand made crowns that took 3 weeks.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Take a good look at the photographers work and ask a lot about what they do for lighting and who they have worked for, as far as, real companies.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Know what you need to shoot. Know realistically how many shots you need. Know your Budget. Know what commercial photography cost. Know what retouching and color correction cost. Get several estimates
