Q&A

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

unfold fold
I like to collaborate and get as much info before hand. That way we are on the same page working toward your goal.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

unfold fold
I have been working in a creative way for most of my life. I used to draw and paint a lot but moved to photography in 2010.

How did you get started doing this type of work?

unfold fold
I initially got a digital camera to take product photos for a website I was building. Deep down I really wanted an excuse to buy a nice camera. I took over 20,000 shots the first year with a DSLR and haven't slowed down creating.

What types of customers have you worked with?

unfold fold
Ive shot for a professional motorcycle team, musicians and professionals.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?

unfold fold
I was asked to capture a retired man and his horse. Doing it in a way that looked classic and meaningful was very important. After some planning and thinking about the look of the shot we decided on the perfect spot and time of day to pull it off. On the day of the shoot it only took a few minutes of shooting to get the perfect shot. That was very satisfying for me. I really want every shoot to be like that.

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

unfold fold
Find someone that asks a lot of questions and has work that looks like the pictures you want to buy.

What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

unfold fold
Be thinking about turn around time, additional equipment needed, additional people, and maybe a plan B just encase.
